A story 13 years in the making! (Well really much longer than that, maybe we will visit the prequel later.) Me$$’d Up, a rapper built out of rage, fear, betrayal, and a hunger for success is struck by great misfortune and realizes he needs to “rebrand” once again. This time he invites spirit to guide him, and he stumbles into a shamanic initiation of becoming Kopus. This is a narrated Mixtape specifically created to show both my artistic and personal progression from M to K (This is ultra concerning to my conspiratorial brain), some of the songs are painfully honest, some are out right cringe, but I think the narration even makes the odder songs an enjoyable listen. More importantly, I had a lot of fun putting this together, and I truly think it can help some people understand the pain and beauty of rebirth.
